Folks, my final entry for 2023 drops next Friday, but I’m sharing this recording today, the first day of Hanukkah. Our Unitarian Universalist church is a mixed bag of offerings, representing multiple faith traditions, and we were lucky to have a service last week by a Jewish member who, as a former professor, is also a great speaker. I didn’t expect to laugh so much, or to learn so much. You might discover surprises about this holiday’s origins and practices; I certainly did. It’s about 20 minutes. Enjoy.
